LOCAL ETHOS AND ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The role of the Local Ethos & Advisory Committee is to support, inform, advise and challenge provision; working together, empowering excellence and improving outcomes for all children. Working with the Senior Team and the Trust Board , Local Ethos & Governance Committees are a local voice and a link with local communities and churches (Church Schools) as well as being advocates for all Trust academies. Details about the composition of this Committee can be found on the Learning Academy Partnership website.

As ambassadors for the academies, Local Ethos & Advisory Committees can play a crucial role in enriching community relationships and communication; contributing to the collective effectiveness of academies and the Board of Trustees. West Alvington C of E Academy belongs to the South Hams Hub.  The  South Hams Hub committee members are shown below.
